Its a good idea to amend the ordinance, but interestingly, if an ordinance were already in place, these 3 pathetics would have probably not tried to sell their stuff here and would have not been caught. Nice job MVPD.

It's great that they want to strengthen the ordinance, but what about these gun and ammo stores we have around town? It is my understanding that people can go in to load up on ammo and they don't even keep a record!!! How can police protect our community if they can't track who is buying the stuff that kills?

Hmm, please do not hijack the thread. There are plenty of places to talk about gun control/ammo control issues, plenty of other threads directly related to it all over the internet. This particular thread is not one of them though. Thanks for understanding.

Yes, we need something to curb the rash of gun-crimes in the city. Oh, wait...

this ordinance may put some out of business if they made ends meet by fencing stolen property. That's good though. We don't need or want any business like that in any form.

It is possibly related. The perps were probably trying to raise money to buy bullets from a mv gun store. The last thing we need is to reload criminals weapons!

Agree, we should expand the ordinance to require picture ID and fingerprints for selling personal items, as they do in SF. Same requirements for gun and ammo purchases. Let them go somewhere else to pawn loot, and stock up on weapons.
