"... placed on PAID administrative leave".??? Fine and dandy, but IF-AND-WHEN he is CONVICTED of the crime, he should have to PAY BACK the "administrative leave" $$$ that he is basically STEALING since he KNOWS he's guilty as hell ... otherwise, this scumbag GETS PAID HIS NORMAL SALARY while he draws out his trial ... is the San Mateo Sheriff's office just protecting one of it's own? (I know - it's shocking, but cops DO cover not only their OWN @sses but the @sses of all their cop buddies) ...

Gee Mark. Why not show up at the jail with pitchforks and torches? Shouldn't he be presumed innocent until a judicial outcome?

I for one do not believe in hearsay, especially coming from a 14 yr old child. Lot of them are just emotional and want to hurt people with their words of make believe, yes lies. Unless there is hard evidence, i'm not convinced.

If he's guilty then he deserves all the bad things that are in his future. If he's not guilty his life is still ruined and his career is over and what happens to the girl who started this thing? Does she get charged with a crime? We'll have to wait and find out. She sure waited long enough to come forward. Say a prayer for both of them
