It is great to know that the school teachers are provided with training that would benefit them to increase not only learning but that will motivate students to evaluate themselves. It is obvious that team work is success. I aplaude the determatination of Dr. Ghysels for adopting programs that would make parents proud and would make students reflect about the education they receive, as well as providing them with personal growth and responsibility.

Congratulations Dr. Ghysels! So happy you are adventuring into new waters. What a meaningful method to help students value themselves, their gifts, and thereby appreciate their contributions toward interdependence. I wish you and your teams COURAGE and INGENUITY!

I'm so proud of you! I'm also thankful for your PASSION FOR TEACHING.

Lovingly grateful....sister mary gilda sturino, ssnd

I applaud you efforts and success. Activity such as this is long overdue in our educational system. It is one thing to say " No kid left behind". It is much better to develop a vehicle that enables them to achieve it.

What can parents and students do in their local regions to encourage this kind of development? How can we get government legislation to support and even mandate such programs? tkarn@accurounds.com (RI)
