Developer found for Shoreline hotel

After Google bowed out of negotiations last year to develop a hotel next to its headquarters, several other developers came forward, and the council confirmed a favorite on Tuesday: Robert Green Company, developer of the Four Seasons in East Palo Alto.

It's about time Mountain View had a full service hotel. That was one of the original plans for the old Emporium site so hopefully this one will work out. The April 25th fundraiser for Community Services of Mountain view has to be held at a Palo Alto Hotel, would be great if those types of events could be held in Mountain View but currently there are no suitable venues Web Link

I was just wondering if it was the Intercontinental Hotel in East Palo Alto that appeared to sink before opening a couple of years back. I guess the issue is fixed as the hotel seems to be open. Does anybody have more details? Thank you.
