I have a son, at Gunn, also a junior, and I have to say this week has been awful in Palo Alto (there were other deaths, too).

I am deeply concerned about the comments my son at Gunn is hearing, both by other students and online. These are often by insensitive other youth, I am also concerned about the comments my middle schooler is hearing, from adults.

Isn't it sad and tragic and awful enough that a Mother is without son, a Father lost a buddy and a sister lost her sibling? Not to mention that this community lost another promise for our future.....

Please people, be respectful in what you say and type and blog, ENOUGH. Let this young man go in peace and let his family do some grieving

How sad to lose and mourn a child, moreso around Mother's Day.
