CITY AND SCHOOL DISTRICT COLLABORATE TO ORGANIZE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR OVER 250 MOUNTAIN VIEW STUDENTS
Beyond the Bell after school program coordinates flag football tournament to students after school

With obesity and lack of physical activity on the rise amongst youth, the Beyond the Bell after school program strives to provide positive physical activities to it’s participants. The collaborative after school program between the City of Mountain View and the Mountain View Whisman School District will be hosting it’s 2nd annual flag football tournament on Thursday, May 28, 2009. The tournament encourages students to participate in physical fitness activities, and increases their positive identity. Over 250 Mountain View elementary school students, and their families, will participate in the tournament. Beyond the Bell invites the community to attend this annual event and support our after school programs!
