As a child growing up on a Chrysanthemum nursery where Verisign now resides, I understand the economic pressures of giving up a family agricultural legacy.

I wish the Satakes the best. It is emotionally hard sometimes to see the nurseries go, but sometimes the silver lining is in the property that it sits on. I've seen my parents struggle through drought and energy price hikes with their nursery, but things are good for them now.

I didn't know that the Satakes relocated themselves! My parents were interned at Topaz and the Satakes are folks that I've known in the community growing up.
