Gophers in Cuesta Park

In recent years I have noticed more and more gopher holes and mounds in Cuesta Park. It seems like the grass fields will soon no longer be good for playing sports because the surfaces are so uneven. Can't somthing be done by the Parks Dept before it is too late?

I agree with you. I am afraid to let my baby walk around in the grass because of the BIG Toothed gophers. I worry about my son running and twisting his knee in the giant holes they leave behind.

First it was squirrels, now gophers? Its nature people....
