The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Finn Center in Mountain View will present photography by students from Mountain View High School from November 6-13, with an opening reception on Friday, November 6, 5-7 pm. On display will be 60 works created by 30 students, sophomores through seniors, in their year-long photography class taught by Lori Nock at Mountain View High School. A variety of subjects in both black and white and color will be on exhibit. "Having an exhibition is an important part of the creative process because it gives young artists the opportunity to share their work with others," said CSMA Visual Arts Director Linda Covello. "We are thrilled to be able to provide the venue for these talented young artists to exhibit their art." Photos will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to support a photography class field trip later in the year. CSMA is located at Finn Center, 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View. The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. For info about CSMA and/or the exhibition, see www.arts4all.org or call 650-917-6800, x306.
