From my understanding in talking to personal friends who are teachers in the Los Altos School district, none of the candidates are qualified to be on the school board. They are not supportive of teachers and truly do not have a good understanding on education. Rather, the present school board and candidates run it as a business. It is not a business. Los Altos schools had great test scores and teachers. In order to keep that, the Superintendent,School board and Teacher's union better get their act together otherwise, their schools will be filled with incompetent teachers because all the good ones will have left!
