Girl Scouts brighten senior center with holiday decor

Original post made by extra!credit, Mountain View Voice Blogger, on Nov 20, 2009

Kudos to Junior Girl Scout Troop 61169. The fifth grade scouts from Springer School spent Wednesday afternoon decorating holiday trees at the senior center for the fourth year in a row!

The girls hand-make the ornaments, and pay for supplies with cookie sale revenue. This year they were joined by Brownie Troop 61258, who helped them with the festivities.
