What happened to Ron's Farmhouse?

Every year around this time I am priviledged to visit Mountain View for a few days while visiting Stanford Medical Center. I always like to stop by Ron's Farmhouse at least one of the nights I'm in town to have a beer with the great folks who frequent Ron's.

This trip, I see the sign says "Thanks" and there is a "For Lease" poster up.

What happened???

Why did Ron's close and where did all of the regulars go?
