Actually, Tony called me on his way home from work at Atlantis Financial and told me to notify the authorities of the weapon in case the shells overheated and caused any bodily injury to the officers on duty. His call was made out of concern for the officers' well-being. Nobody 'discovered' the shotgun, the only reason it was involved was because my roommate was concerned about others' safety.
In addition, there were absolutely no 'narcotics' found by anyone. In fact, they never existed at all. The officer asked what I had in my pocket and I willingly and cooperatively showed him two grams of high-quality cocaine and three pills of Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) which is medication for ADHD. I didn't have a prescription at the time, and now I do.
The officers later tried to coerce me into admitting to cooking meth and crack in the apartment as the cause of the fire, and used dishonest and petty interrogation techniques to do so.
Nonetheless I love the specious journalism almost as much as the abusive law enforcement.

I am appauled that this smut is allowed in our community. I hope the two are prosecuted to the fullest extent. The fact that one of them had the gohones to post on MV voice website citing the fact that he had "high-quality cocaine" leads me to believe he needs rehabilitation. Authorities use anything and everything they can to prosecute, this internet posting will be no exception.

Alright Dick, how are you suggesting that this 'smut' is 'allowed' in our community? Who is telling you it is allowed?
Maybe you should play a little catch up on your textbook reading and learn how the law actually works, and then maybe you'll understand how it is prosecuted. (Hint: they don't prosecute first-offenders to the fullest extent.)
You think a posting will affect prosecution? Alright dude. I don't have to say anything to this one.
And seriously - is your name really 'Richard McLovin?' I can't believe this smut is allowed in our community.

The fact that I said it was high-quality doesn't mean I'm not sorry for possessing it - obviously it was a mistake, and I shouldn't be carrying it. I'm sure people can understand this. The prescription medicine, on the other hand, actually does help me with ADHD and I regret not procuring a prescription FIRST.

Oh, and why else would there be a SAWED OFF shotgun in the apartment other than protecting a Drug stash? I believe that you're not trying to cook crack or meth, but still, selling coke doesn't make you any better than then the cooks.

This is to Mclovin --
[Portion removed by Mountain View Voice staff, including following ellipses.] If you had ever TRIED coke or anything else for that matter you would know what you're talking about, but since you're probably some ignorant middle-upper class neighborhood snob, you really have no idea. ... Max is a good person who got stuck in a ... situation. [Remainder removed by Mountain View Voice staff.]

You guys are hilarious.
My roommate doesn't need a shotgun to protect a few grams of cocaine. He works at a renowned financial institution selling mortgages.
As for me, I don't need to sell cocaine. I work for an intellectual property investment firm. Let's not be silly.
How would you know if I regret possessing or not? You don't know me - and you clearly don't understand the legal system.
It sounds like some of you gentlemen have some bottled up anger, and you derive pleasure in directing it towards me. If you knew me at all you would immediately withdraw your statements. I don't really understand what fuels this kind of hatred - did I personally offend you, or steal from you, or otherwise cause you harm? I don't think so. It sounds like some members are projecting some emotions here.
Will has a point - how would you feel if your house burned down, and you called 911 only to have the authorities discover your vast child pornography collection?
