Citing security concerns, several anonymous Google employees have reported that the Mountain View search giant has banned the use of Windows on all company computers. According to Financial Times, Google began fazing out internal use of Windows after a Chinese hacker exploited a weakness in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 to get at guarded Google data.
The Financial Times report says that while some Google employees have recently installed Windows on their work laptops, Apple computers running Mac OS X or PCs running Linux are now the only in-house options.
Microsoft has responded by defending Windows' security.
