Schools & Kids, posted by Editor, Mountain View Voice Online, on Dec 22, 2010 at 8:36 pm

A need for revenue and the low population of students surrounding the Whisman neighborhood has the local elementary and middle-school district preparing to renew the lease of the former Slater Elementary School to Google, an agreement which has been hailed as a win-win by representatives from both organizations.

No, why don't YOU explain what you're talking about? Cite a source of these 'bonuses' being doled out at the DO.

Slater School should never have been closed. This neighborhood still needs a local school, a school within walking distance and a community focal point. The other schools are very full and class size has increased. Our neighborhood and our children STILL need Slater School.
