Down and derby

Mountain View's first soap box derby went off without a hitch last weekend on the Dana Street overpass in front of Landels Elementary School.

A shame that the Voice didnt give this event as much coverage (at least on the website) as the PA Weekly-- it was an MV event, after all! Great photos up at the PAW's website-- check them out! Hope they show up in the print version of the Voice, at least.

Great program for kids! They build the cars, They race the cars, They win and they lose. My son raced and made new friends and can't wait to race again. to see his face after winning a heat was priceless, Something he will never forget. Thanks goes to the P.A.E Club.
