Kasperzak, again?

Great, maybe he can give another creepy speech heralding the wonders of Scientology like the one he gave as a Council member when the Dianetics Center opened on Castro Street.

"And I encourage the people of Mountain View, to explore the basic tools the church offers, so as to bring to this city a renewal of promise and expansion that began here. It is time for a new boom, let's create one together!"

Ugh.

A simple ribbon cutting and welcoming is one thing, but this video and former Mayor Neely's (also on youtube) crosses the line. Regardless of where you stand on Scientology, I don't like it when I see a city council person using their status as an elected representative of my community as a tool to recruit people to this "religion" or any one for that matter.
