While I think this is great, has the County and parents seen the Youtube video about the removal of the bike lane leading to the high school(s) so more cars could be parked near the school.

A green school should have both a policy and actually plans implemented that makes it safe for kids and teachers to ride bicycles to school. Adding more cars and taking away bike lanes doesn't make it safer for bike riders.

I wonder how much they spent for this boondoggle. Since they don't pay taxes, the income tax rebates, which cost us taxpayers anyway, do not help them.

Knowing their business savvy, I bet they bought the panels from Solyndra ;-)

"Curious" -

just fyi, $1.6M in PG&E rebates are going to the school district's general fund, to be used for educational programs. And the net energy savings due to the panels will save the district $500K/year in utility bills...money that again will be used for educational programs.
