MV Reads Together goes green

Mountain View Reads Together is going all out this year. Not only are participants asked to read Bill McKibben's book, "Earth," but to also attend numerous November events, including a tour of Google's greenness, an event about urbanites raising bees and chickens, and a talk by a Buddhist nun about the spirituality of being green.

All our local bookstores have ordered extra copies of Bill McKibben's "Eaarth" to support Mountain View Reads Together's book choice for 2011. The Library has also stocked up. I hope as many people as possible will attend one or more of the free events.
