I believe that's the pay for the new, just beginning work as a judge, judge.

That is way too much salary for a sitting judge !

No wonder municipalities are BROKE !

She brings an ethnic and gender addition to the bench. She is a bright and qualified lady.

Pay? The average practicing attorney with her experience would be bringing in around 250 - 300 k per year... It is a sacrifice to serve at the given salary.

Does "Stay in School and Learn if you really wanna Earn" ring a bell you burger flipper ?

Let me see - I think I read recently (The Economist?) that over the last 5 or 6 years the average compensation for a doctor has increased $100,000 per year. I'd agree with George, but without the sarcasm.
