What a neat idea.. an old fashioned diner with home cooking. I can

hardly wait for it to be renovated and opened for business. It's hard to find good "comfort food" as Mountain View has become very international.

Wow this is great I can't wait. Where is it going to be located and when will it open up ?

The city of Mtn View has allowed Old Middlefield-- a gateway into town-- to turn into an absolute dump! Massive truck tires as permanent advertising, actual junker car lots exposed to the street, etc, etc. It is an embarassment. I cant think of a city on the Peninsula that has let a major thoroughfare turn into such a pathetic mess.

This is not a reflection on the business mix on Old Middlefield. It is about the city's decision to basically have no rules about outside storage, adversting, etc.

If the guy putting this diner together has standards, this should be cool. If not...
