Two women who stole more than $250,000 out of a Los Altos couple's Palo Alto credit union account were sentenced Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Santa Clara County Superior Court, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

I'm not saying what they did was OK, but this is what happens when all the jobs we had are outsourced and a way to make a decent living anymore goes away: People learn a new vocation they may never have thought they'd ever consider...theft.

Boo Hoo...jobs are being shipped off shore because labor unions have priced many jobs into a non competitive status, so that makes it Ok for these trashy poeple to fleece some Seniors bank accounts, and you make excuses for them. I would love to stay and chat but I have to go to my night job, so that I can resist the temptation of robbing the 80 year old couple I rent from.

To the reporter: Rather than reciting the history of the credit union as found on their website, how about asking them for a statement regarding their responsibility for the criminal actions of their employee?
Have the victims been made whole? What are other account holders to think of the security of their own deposits?
