School bond measure near approval

The Mountain View Whisman School District board appears poised to move forward on a $198 million bond measure to pay for safety and facilities improvements at local elementary and middle schools.

What about the community opening up a charter school and claiming Whisman Elementary. That would be great for the local community! Perhaps it could be tied into BCS from an operational point of view!

How about our local PACT reclaiming a school? Rather than stuff another facility on the same block with District Office, a Google childcare, and another complete K-5 school? Whisman buildings are the only site in the district which all are rated Class 1 structurally.
