Breathalyzers a prom night tradition

Mountain View and Los Altos high schools are both holding their prom dances this Saturday night. And along with fancy dresses, tuxedos and manicures, a little handheld device used to test blood alcohol level is sure to make its appearance.

This is a great idea. I was shopping at Nobhill this past Saturday and there was a boy who was being arrested for stealing liquor. My daughter told me that he is a Junior at Mountain View. The cashier told me that he told them that he was to attend the Prom and that the liquor was for the after party.
