A man was arrested on March 16 after allegedly punching a Molly Magees employee in the face, police said.

When the city's less than thought out smoking ban starts in May, you'll have at least 20 people in that parking lot at a time on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday night - patrons from 4 different bars that share that parking lot, since it will be the only "legal" place for bar patrons to smoke. Kicking people out of enclosed patios with watchful security into this parking lot. Now everyone's tax dollars will be spent having to pay for cleaning up cigarette butts, the potential vandalism to people's cars, and having to pay to have extra police there to babysit instead of stopping real crimes.

Great job Mountain View City Council!

I bet the $14k of county money you'll be spending on ashtrays will seem like peanuts when you add everything else up.

Well, smokers are drug addicts, so I guess what you describe is possible.

Blame anything but the individual that actually committed the assault...
