I am a close friend of Erik, I just wanted to thank the lady who tried to preform CPR, and the person who stayed on the scene, instead of running. I am glad he was not alone. Thank You MV for your efforts.

Erik was a jolly and delightful man to be around, he was a pilot and the best kind of friend. He is flying higher than ever now.

I too want to thank the woman who tried tI help our dear friend Erik. He was so generous with his friends and family it's is of some comfort that he had two people generous enough to be with him in his last moments. We know he's flying in his rickety plane over a beautiful golf course before a round of 18 holes with his uncle. xoxo

I think Mountain View needs to put more street lights in crosswalks. I know there are areas on Shoreline that are way too dark and pedestrians can not be seen while walking across the street. At night, I have to almost come to a stop on Shoreline to really see if someone is waiting to walk across the street. There have been times when someone was standing at the crosswalk but I could not see them at all until I was right there. It is scary. I don't know if this situation had anything to do with poor lighting, but I know "poor lighting" is a major problem on that street and other areas in Mountain View. Can't the city put flashing lights in crosswalks when the walk buttons are pushed? I think that would be a good investment for our city.
