What a sad story about Erik Onorato. I did not know him well, but I worked with him on one project at Space Systems/Loral, and he was great. Smart, hard working, can-do attitude. Too many drivers are not careful around pedestrians. I see so many drivers make a rolling right turn, looking left at traffic and not not looking right into the cross walk. The other day, while I was crossing Central in the crosswalk, somebody in a BMW intentionally ran the red light to save few seconds. This type of behavior leads to a life being cut short. RIP Erik, you were a great guy.
