Are those guns in the background? Guns should not be allowed on a school campus. It sends the wrong message.

Yes, those are REAL AND TRUE flintlocks and muskets... everybody run!! Kids on the loose with muskets at a school!

Seriously? It's an HISTORICAL REENACTMENT. Please do everyone a favor and learn about that time in American history - these kids are lucky enough to receive a full and outstanding education in history, and at that time gunsmiths, stocks, and so forth were the norm - almost every single household was armed. The "weapons" you see in any photos are fake.. obviously. But I'm happy they're not editing our history to please some new PC notions of what life SHOULD HAVE been like back then.

Those fake representations of rifles should be replaced with fake radios, just like they did in the E.T. remake. It helps protect people from imaginary bullets.

"Huff Mom"....I can only hope you're being as facetious as I am. Otherwise, you're just part of the problem. How well do you think the "don't tell kids about it" approach works when it comes to drugs, firearms, sex, etc? I'd rather they were given a proper education on history and firearms than be ignorant & curious.

Old school punishment? It looks like an excuse to bully.
