Please get it does as soon as possible. If you asked me, I would say that electrifying Caltrain is more important than those $100 merging lanes being built on Hwy 101 right now.

Electrifying Caltrain would have a huge beneficial impact on my neighborhood. The current diesel engines are loud, and emit an exhaust plume. Going electric would result in not just quieter and cleaner trains, but they are also quicker to accelerate, shortening run times and allowing more trains to run more frequently. Win-win.
