A small group of local growers, food producers, restauranteurs and artisans -- gathered together on Oct. 5 in a section of the Grant Road parking lot of El Camino Hospital for the first in a series of farmers' markets scheduled to be held each Friday through the end of the fall season.

Please check the spelling of "restauranteurs." There is no such word.
As usual, the writer tried several different spellings of "farmers' market, farmer's market, farmers market, " hoping, I suppose, to get credit for whichever one is correct. Sloppiness in the writing of the article makes readers question whether the writer was equally sloppy in the facts. Hurts credibility.

@sigh: Thank you for drawing our attention to a couple of errant apostrophes. They've been eradicated.
As for "restauranteurs" not being a word, I'm afraid my Webster's New World dictionary begs to differ with you, as it recognizes both "restaurateur" and "restauranteur" as correct spellings.
