After eight years on the job, City Council member Laura Macias went to her final council meeting last week and is now saying goodbye to the intense civic life she's become accustomed to.

Councilwomen Laura Macia is a wonderful person who first and foremost held the well-being of the people of Mountain View in her heart.

Her presence on the city council will be missed.

Good riddance to a mindless leftist. Unfortunately, the good people of Mountain View elected four others of similar views so the two voices of sanity on the council were always outvoted.
