In Mountain View, you have the freedom to speak, but only until you try to do it! Wake up, people. Stand with me against the corrupt Mountain View Municipal Corporation. Take a close look at what is happening right here, under your nose. Ask me tough questions here to get to the truth of my claims. If I answer satisfactorily, stand with me. If you do not stand with me, I am going to be creamed like a bug on a windshield!

Sign #1: "ONE FOR ALL / ALL FOR ONE"

Sign #2: "MTN. VIEW VERSUS FREE SPEECH / READ ABOUT IT @ IDEAFARM.COM"

I displayed these two signs, and the result was a week in jail, three arrests, and the seizure of all of my speech equipment including one of the signs and both of my voice recorders.

I would still be in jail except that Aladdin Bail Bonds deposited $30,000 (yes, 30 THOUSAND dollars) with the Superior Court even though I have no income, no cosigners, no assets, and am up to my neck in credit card debt.

I was standing on the roadway, but it is perfectly legal to do so as long as you make sure to yield right of way. No Vehicle Code provision was violated. The Mountain View Municipal Corporation claims that I am a public nuisance. Any two year old knows that nuisance law cannot be applied to speech.

Please go to IDEAFARM.COM, browse the list of events, listen to the audio recordings of police officers enforcing the law unreasonably, and then spread the word about what the Mountain View Municipal Corporation is doing to a civic speaker!

Is it so far-fetched to imagine the police harassing someone they see challenging their power? Espescially someone they know has no resources for defense. Next time you see a policeman exceding his authority, call it to his attention. You're not afraid to, are you?

I have hundreds of audio recordings that capture MVPD police officers applying the law unreasonably. This policing agency operates as if it is above the law, as if THEY ARE THE LAW. But they wouldn't do that if the corrupt Superior Court in this county didn't rubber stamp everything that the police say and do.

But the problem isn't just a renegade policing agency and a rubber stamping court. The police do what they are told to do, by City Attorney Jannie Quinn and by the City Council. The Mountain View Municipal Corporation operates on the view that the state and federal constitutions are obstacles to get around rather than sacred documents to uphold and defend.

On Monday, Jan. 21, the first day that I resumed holding a sign, someone complained to the police and the police responded. The initial police report concealed the identity of that individual, but a subsequent police report revealed it. It was Jac Siegel.

Every dollar of the millions of taxpayer dollars that the Mountain View Municipal Corporation has spent keeping me tangled up in court in a fight that is now in its third year is driven by politics and by the City Council and the City Attorney.

I can prove all of this and much more. This story will be told! But I need people to stand with me in a meaningful way, so that I can keep fighting in court and keep writing the story.
