An entirely different kind of supermarket is set to take up residence where the old Nob Hill used to be at the newly renovated shopping center at 1350 Grant Road.

I have never seen two supermarkets side by side. Are they sure that this makes good business sense?

They are two distinctly different markets, so i don't think that will be an issue.

Now parking? That's going to be a whole other story :)

Two grocery stores with distinctly different markets may make as much sense as car dealerships with distinctly different cars setting up shop next to each other along a long row on the same street.
