COMING UP: Mineta, Lieber at City Hall

Highway 85 will be known as the Norman Y. Mineta Highway beginning this Saturday, Sept. 13 with a ceremony in front of Mountain View City Hall hosted by state Assemblywoman Sally Lieber.

why is San Jose naming everything Norman Mineta, I'm sure we have other loyal hard working citizens that have contributed to our community that deserve the glory

Don't these politicians have anything better to do than to introduce resolutions renaming things after themselves?

I think they named it for him because he got millions of dollars for us so we could build the road.
