Los Altos Boys Soccer defeats Monta Vista

12/15/08 - On Monday, Los Altos High School boys soccer played Monta Vista HS at LAHS. The first half ended with Monta Vista in the lead, the lone visitor goal coming off a well-executed corner play and header shot. In the second half, the Los Altos boys woke up and scored 2 goals - the first off a great crossing pass from Soph. mid-fielder Omri Maor, which the defender played into his own goal. The second goal was a strike by Soph forward Peter Ambiel. Final score 2-1. Los Altos is now 4-2-1 overall in pre-season play.
