Locals to Obama: Health care 'is not working'

A group of 37 residents gathered at the Mountain View Senior Center last month to discuss possible health care reforms, agreeing that the country's current system needs to change under Barack Obama's administration.

The outcome of this meeting was exactly like that of the meeting held in my family practice office in Burlingame on December 31. The participants in that meeting, attended by patients, colleagues, and other members of the community, concluded we need single payer health finance reform now. You can hear what people had to say in the less than ten minute video on YouTube at Web Link. For further rational ideas about how we must change our health care system got to Web Link
