I don't get the appeal of watching people drive around in circles. Seems like a giant waste of energy, whether it comes in the form of gasoline or in the form of electricity. I can think of a thousand other ways in which that same energy could be used to better the world. I don't consider race car driving a real sport anyway since the driver's not really doing the grunt work. Kind of like how I don't consider hunting a sport either because the gun does most of the work (when the animals start shooting back then I'll consider it a sport).
