Peninsula Youth Theatre Presents "Sleeping Beauty"
Around Town, posted by mike, a resident of the Cuesta Park neighborhood, on May 8, 2009 at 11:07 am

Peninsula Youth Theatre will present Kate Hawley's "Sleeping Beauty," a twist on this classic tale, May 9 - 17 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.

"When the King and Queen fail to invite the fairy Belladonna to their darling daughters christening, her curse says the girl, at 16, will fall asleep for 100 years. This Princess, however, is enough to make the castle wish for a break-- she's spoiled and lazy and throws temper tantrums! Only Prince Revoir can get the snooty princess to think about her actions. But can he also rescue her from Belladonna's spell in this panto comedy?"

This hilarious show will entertain all ages, and features many of Mountain View's finest young actors!
