Gas tax Tom Cambell Elections, posted by Kevin Crispie, a resident of the Blossom Valley neighborhood, on Aug 9, 2009 at 9:01 am
The gas tax is the tax that makes the most sense. We are talking about reducing omissions but the only way to make people stop driving as much is to make it more expensive. If possible, if the gas tax is raised, maybe more than planned, but the state could issue coupons for using public transit. Raising the gas tax for more then planned can cover this. If public transit is cheaper, and driving more expensive people will begin to change.

Who gets hit the hardest by this tax? Investment bankers, venture capitalists, or the woman who has to be on time for her job at Burger King so I can have my breakfast?
