The event is sponsored in part by Borel Private Bank & Trust Company.

The evening's entertainment will feature The Saint Michael Trio, CSMA Percussion Ensemble and a special surprise performer sharing a variety of upbeat, lively music throughout the evening on stage in CSMA's beautiful interior courtyard.

I would love to go but that's way too much money for me.

Your $45 = $90 to CSMA! All tickets purchased by FIRST-TIME DONORS will be matched by a generous grant from the Morgan Family Foundation.

I think if that was included in the article I may not have posted my comment.

But thanks for the information. In other words, are you donating money that has already been donated?

Hello, sorry that I neglected to include the information in the original posting. My comment was not intended as a response to your original comment, but simply to add the information to the original posting.

The matching donation means that, if you have never made a tax-deductible donation to CSMA and you buy a ticket to this fundraiser, the Morgan Family Foundation will donate $45 to CSMA. So the proceeds from your $45 ticket purchase, plus an EXTRA $45, go to CSMA to benefit our financial aid and arts education programs.

Paying tuition for classes, camps or lessons is not considered a donation; so if you have registered at CSMA for programs, but have never given us money just as a donation, you would be considered a new donor.

I hope this helps. Thanks for your interest!

What I am asking, Is the grant from the Morgan Family Foundation a donation?

Yes, the Morgan matching grant is a donation from the Foundation to CSMA.
