Typical re-elect me! free advertising article. The best she can do is continue to spend other peoples money?

The project to extend Stevens Creek Trail over 85 to Dale/Heatherstone is already fully funded. How about funds to extend from Dale/Heatherstone to MV High?

Does everybody understand that when Eshoo secures Federal funds all she is doing is spending our taxes????

I'd be happy if all politicians just agreed to not asking for any federal funds for the next few years. That's the only way this country's budget deficit will decrease.

This article simply points out Eshoo's funding requests as they relate to Mountain View. It's not free advertising for her re-election and it doesn't make any analysis of whether she is doing her job well or whether these requests are legitimately necessary. That's up to you to decide.

It seems they all line up for funds, here in Napa the Flood Control Dist. Got 50 million plus dollars for train tracks.

"$250,000 to study a rail" just sounds kind of funny. (please don't be offended union people)

For a politician with no political challenger on the horizon, still nice that she delivers some pork to Mtn View

Pork is off the menu for the foreseeable future. It'll be beans and rice from now on.

According to 2005 records, California received 78 cents in Federal spending for every dollar of taxes paid to the Federal Government and ranked 43 out of the 50 states for such spending. Unless this has changed much in the last five years, I don't think we have to feel guilty about being a pork state anytime soon.

Expect considerably less in the future.

We elected Rep Eshoo to be our voice in Washington in which the Rep has done a job well done.

There is nothing about PORK in the process to date. It appears the political person stating PORK does not understand pork barrel politics. The state of California does not have in general have any pork projects in the federal budget unlike other states.

Anna Eshoo has never found a tax increase objectionable. She wants the high speed rail to go right through the towns in this District. She is a menace who should be voted out of office.
