She is able to check flight logs. She said she was unsure what the noise could have been last night and has had no complaints about it either.
If it was an aircraft arriving or leaving Moffett, she said it could have been a C130 cargo plane, a sheriff or police helicopter or some other aircraft not related to Moffett activities going to or from a different air field.
The other possibility is the wind tunnels at Moffett, which often operate late at night and sound like a large plane continuously trying to take off. But the person who usually deals with wind tunnel noise complaints is out of the office this week (650/604-5054).
