On Sunday morning, June 13, a group of 35 players met at Cuesta Park to participate in a Social Tennis Play Day co sponsored by Mountain View Tennis Club and Mountain View Tennis Center at Cuesta Park. David Panconi, Head Professional at Mountain View Tennis, called off the ticket numbers for the Blind Draw Doubles. Players were paired off and placed on a court using timed intervals for doubles play. Teams played various opponents rotating from court to court using different types of balls ranging from transition foam to traditional court balls. A separate court was set aside to demo racquets testing your skill with the ball and timing your serve with a speed gun. Juice and snacks were provided by Mountain View Tennis Club.
