Blue Angels over Mountain View or just plain, grey jets?

Two jets flew over Mountain View this afternoon and yesterday at about 5pm. I say they were part of the Blue Angels fleet. My sig-other begs to differ and said they were grey F-18s out of Moffett. Anyone care to settle this difference ?

I saw them clearly, they were the trademark blue with yellow lettering and flying very close together.

I think they are F16s. I saw 4 of them in formation over Mountain View yesterday at around 1pm. My guess is they are part of Fleet Week but not the Blue Angels.

Oh, and yes, definitely grey.

They were not Blue Angles. They were here for the Stanford USC game. From a PR release: "During the pregame pomp and ceremony, Navy jets will execute a precision flyover"
