All 23,000 Googlers to get 10 percent raise

Original post made by GoogleWatch on Nov 10, 2010

An email leaked to the press has revealed that Google is giving its employees all across the globe a 10 percent raise, as companies like Facebook and Twitter have begun poaching its employees.

The employee who leaked the email has been fired, according to CNNMoney, and Google has notified its employees that it did so, apparently sending a message to future leakers.

Google employees will also receive a $1,000 holiday bonus.

The [Web Link Wall Street Journal] explains why the raises were necessary.
