CA government waste and incompetence

I just received a mailing from the DMV with a 2012 registration sticker and an "IMPORTANT NOTICE!" that I was inadvertently mailed a 2011 renewal sticker.

This is bureaucratic incompetence wasting my tax dollars. What can we do about this?

I also was told my expired license will be replaced in January due to "technical difficulties". I had to go to the DMV office to get a temporary license.

This is government service?
