Has anyone ever gotten a job because of LinkedIn?

As some of you may know, LinkedIn, the job social networking site based in Mountain View, recently announced that they reached 100 million users.

We're wondering if anyone in Mountain View has been hired (by any company) specifically because of their LinkedIn profile. In other words, you wouldn't have gotten the job unless you had a LinkedIn, and you can demonstrate that.

Maybe you were introduced to somebody through the site that you wouldn't have met otherwise, or the employer saw that you were connected to someone on the site that they trusted...
