Mountain View Spartan football has been going nowhere for years now. The history was to hire and re-hire from within. As a former football coach here and Palo Alto I am pleased to see the High School pick up a motivated, no nonsense coach. Mountain View has always had the talent pool and now maybe MVHS will attract the student-athletes from the competition. Now it would be nice to see the local paper advertise the games and put High School sports in the community spotlight.

I'M FROM CLEVELAND OHIO, I'VE KNOWN TOURE SINCE HE WAS 15 YRS OLD. I HAVE WATCHED HIM GROW INTO A STRONG YOUNG MAN THAT IS STILL A KID AT HEART. AFTER COLLEGE I'VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY FLAG FOOTBALL WITH HIM AND WORKOUT WITH HIM. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ANYONE MORE DEDICATED TO SUCCESS THAN HIM! HIS SPIRIT IS AS STRONG AS YOU CAN GET. BEHIND THE LEADERSHIP OF COACH CARTER THESE KIDS WILL DEFINETLY BE READY IN THE FOURTH QAURTER. HE HIS NOT A PERSON WHO LETS PEOPLE DOWN! GOOD LUCK THIS SEASON MVHS! YOU GET OUT WHAT YOU PUT IN!
