Can we get some sort of special city restrictions on where and how these alcohol dispensaries can operate? They are plagued with violence, now involving innocent people who just happen to be in the way.
This time it was bottles, next time it may be bullets.
The city council was very proactive about restrictions on cannabis dispensaries (which have factually shown to not increase crime, 20 yrs and counting)why no discussions on the dispensaries which have PROVEN to increase crime in the area...violent crime at that.
The abundantly clear hypocrisy would be laughable if it were not so sad.

not defending them but also don't stereotype them either just because they cater to the latin community which is right now becoming more dominant in mtn view. same things happen in other mainstream bars but yet nobody talks about it as much. They take their job seriously there to have these things NOT happend but every so now and then some thing will go wrong it's called Murphy's law!

@Downtown Guest - "Murphy's Law" is a bar in Sunnyvale with Black and White patrons with live Jazz on Monday nights. There is no racism. There is no violence.
Venues that play rap or Latin music attract violent people. If you look at the police reports for the Monte Carlo or other problem venues in Mountain View, you will see that most of the trouble makers come from EPA or other areas outside Mountain View.

@Al-where is there a possessive in there that needs an apostrophe? I might have missed it, but I see only plurals (not "plural's"). But as I say, I might have missed it, I just scanned it quickly.
