2nd Harvest Food Bank-Food Drive Nov 7-Dec 28
Around Town, posted by Allied Auto Works, a resident of the Cuesta Park neighborhood, on Nov 7, 2011 at 10:51 am

Together we can end local hunger. Allied Auto Works is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide for the 1 in 10 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties receiving food from Food Bank each month. Now is the time to take action!

Food collection barrels will be delivered Monday, November 7. Let's fill them to the brim before they're picked up on Wednesday, December 28!

Address locations for donations Mon-Fri from 8:00-5:00

(closed 12:30-1:30)

2073 Grant Rd. (Foothill Expressway) Los Altos. CA 94024

650.968.7227

1540 Miramonte Ave. (Fremont Ave), Los Altos . CA 94024

650.947.7228

Visit www.alliedautoworks.com for more information.

Fill up the barrels with these nutritious, non-perishable foods:

Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup)

Low-sugar cereals

Tuna and canned meat

100% fruit juices in single serving boxes

Peanut butter

Canned fruit packed in juice

Canned foods with pop-top lids

Canned vegetables (low salt)

Please avoid donating items packaged in glass. If you donate glass items in the barrel, please package them in protective boxes to prevent breakage.

Thank you for your participation!
